2007 Minnesota Twins Roster

The Twins were considered underdogs, predicted to fall out of first and as far as fourth. Expectations were high as so many players were coming off of an outstanding 2006 season. The naysayers proved right as the Twins fell to third, with their first losing season under manager Gardenhire. Justin Morneau, Torii Hunter and Johann Santana all received All-Star nods, but less stellar batting and pitching, combined with injuries, knocked the Twins out of the hunt in a division that also had ups and downs. 2,285,018 folks came to the games. A couple of free-agent signings proved useless. And the Twins fourth general manager, Terry Ryan, relinquished duties after a 13-year run. Hunter and Santana received season ending honors as gold glovers.
