2003 Minnesota Twins Roster

Eric Milton went lame in spring training, but the Minnesota Twins took a gamble with 'The Gambler', Kenny Rogers, who was out of work and came to the Twins on a dime because he felt he could contribute. He pushed Johann Santana back into the bullpen for a good portion of the year, but the present and the future were on view as 1,946,011 fans packed the Metrodome to once again cheer as the nearly contracted Twins once again won their division. Torii Hunter received a Gold Glove and closer Eddie Guardado was the lone All-Star, but the Twins couldn't outlast the bats of the New York Yankees, losing 3-1 in the 1st round of the playoffs.
