1992 Minnesota Twins Roster

The Minnesota Twins came in second, but the regulars were aging after a decade of growth and two World Championships. 2,482,428 fans flocked to the Metrodome to see the Twins batters lead the league in hitting. Kirby Puckett was again the star, having a career season with high marks in runs scored, runs-batted-in, hits, a massive .329 batting average and Gold Glove honors in the outfield. He was joined at the All-Star game by Chuck Knoblauch and Rick Aguilera while John Smiley came over in a trade with the Pirates to lead the starting staff in numerous categories.
