2000 Fleer Club 3000
Club 3000, produced in 2000 by Fleer, is a series of cards die-cut around the number 3,000 and features players who have either 3,000 hits or 3,000 strikeouts in their career. The card pictures the player in the uniform they wore when they reached that milestone; the date of the event is printed on the left edge of the card.  The player's name is in silver holo-foil on the front. Backs are not numbered and feature a career note. The checklist of 14 players is divided into 5 subsets and, according to the 2007 Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards, 16th Edition, two players' cards were inserted into Fleer's 2000 Showcase packs at 1 per 24 packs, three were inserted into Fleer Focus at 1:36, three into Fleer Mystique at 1:20, three into Fleer Tradition at 1:36, and three into Fleer Ultra at 1:24. The design of all 14 cards is the same, and the Fleer product into which it was originally inserted is not indicated on the cards. Of the cards featuring Twins' players, Paul Molitor is from the Fleer Focus set and Dave Winfield is from the Mystique set. (Rod Carew, found in the Tradition set, is wearing an Angels' uniform.) Memorabilia versions of each player's card also exist. - DSL
